Mystery Ranch backpacks have earned a loyal following among outdoor enthusiasts, military personnel, Hotshots, and everyday adventurers alike. It is the smaller than its predecessor, which was modeled after a Mystery Ranch limited release Japan-exclusive pack, making it an ideal EDC pack with high-performance fabrics and hardware. As a result, the Unicorn 2.0 quickly became an all-time favorite of mine due to its versatile capabilities and top-notch construction. I hope that Mystery Ranch brings back a more readily available version of this pack for those who weren’t able to acquire the limited edition.

Whether I’m on a weekend hike or navigating through a crowded airport, the tri-zip design ensures that accessing my essentials is seamless.
Customizable Harness System
On many of their packs, users can select a yoke size that best fits their frame and adjust the pack’s position for maximum comfort and support. The packs have a rigid panel that adds stability and increased support. It also can be used to separate the hook and loop on the bag, facilitating easy adjustments.

In early 2024, Mystery Ranch was acquired by Yeti, sparking curiosity and speculation within the outdoor community. As a dedicated fan of Mystery Ranch’s products, I’m eager to see how this partnership unfolds. I hope that Yeti’s involvement will not overshadow Mystery Ranch’s established reputation and commitment to quality. Time will tell, but I remain optimistic about the future of this beloved brand, as Mystery Ranch’s attention to detail and track record of reliability make their packs a standout choice.
