About Us
Unbound Reviews was founded by a young millennial couple, Anna and Liam, who share a deep passion for the outdoors, horses, and their dog. The concept for Unbound Reviews was born from Liam’s passion for researching the best gifts, gadgets, and gear. After years of having friends and family come to him for advice on what backpacks to get for their next trip, what to buy for that special someone during the holidays, or just how to get the best bang for your buck, they realized that his knowledge could go beyond just their inner circle. This, combined with Anna’s years of cross-channel digital marketing experience, created the perfect opportunity to build a site to share their thoughts, passions, and brands they love.
Whether looking for a kitchen gadget, a climbing or camping accessory, equipment for the barn or backyard, or simply the coolest new idea, Unbound Reviews can help. Anna and Liam spend most of their time outside on their farm or traveling with their dog, Kaya. Liam obsesses over their gear, analyzing every detail to ensure it fits into their active lifestyle and can withstand constant use. They value quality gear and love to share “finds” with friends and family. The goal with this site is to share tips, brands, and product reviews with those who share their interests.
Equine dentist by trade, polo player by choice, avid outdoorsman, tequila connoisseur, accomplished cook and so much more, Liam has you covered. Splitting time between his and Anna’s farm in South Carolina and his family home in upstate New York, Liam spends his free time scouring the Internet for the latest and greatest. With a keen eye for quality and function, he has an uncanny ability to find just what you are looking for.
Liam grew up in the Upper Hudson Valley where he enjoyed the outdoors on horseback, on skis and on foot. A graduate of Cornell University, where he met his wife Anna, he is an accomplished equine dentist for some of the top 4-legged athletes.
Similar in kind, Anna spent most of her childhood outdoors, riding and caring for her horses as a young girl growing up in Maryland. Her polo career brought her to Cornell University, where she met her future husband, Liam.
After graduating, Anna has built a career in the digital and affiliate marketing space, working for a number of different agencies while still pursuing her passion for polo. She now spends part of her time helping Liam share his knowledge with the world.
